Mutual-exclusion safety logic prevents the humidifier and dehumidifier from ever running against each other. Configurable hysteresis per control loop prevents short-cycling.

Setpoint Ramping — Smooth, Not Sudden

Every setpoint change — temperature, humidity, or CO₂ — transitions gradually at a configurable rate instead of jumping instantly to the new target. This isn't a minor convenience feature: sudden setpoint jumps shock both the mechanical systems (compressor short-cycling, damper slamming) and the biological system in the room (mycelium and fruiting bodies respond poorly to abrupt environmental shifts).
